i just dont understand how in the heck they expect this to not create lag and even more waiting for a game to start. the entire process seems a bit ate up, but i do remember a few months back there was a post about the "sealed deck" and it had a link to the cards. so i have all the cards on my computer, but i just dont understand all this sealed deck talk in a game guess i'm too much of a noob to get it.

You can chooce from 64 skills and see what you can make with them and ho far you can go, I believe. Makes it a difficult competetive play

How is it stupid?

You have limited skills to see how good you can be in a 4v4 team. Makes PvP hard and you won't be facing the exact same build everytime. Skill will come into this a hell of alot, im looking forward to it.

no, sealed deck in guild wars is like sealed deck in trading card games. drafting is different in that it involves drafting cards while sealed deck does not.

Personally, I wouldn't mind at all facing the exact same builds every time - ie, a balanced format with static bars, attribute distribution and armor setups, which don't go into secondaries, for each profession designed by ANet so that teams can be competitive regardless of which professions are represented. The bars'd definitely need to be designed so that they're not cripplingly overspecialized like the standard PvP teams the players seem come up with, of course...
